Marketing Experience

As a marketing student at Biola University I have gained valuable experience working with clients and developing insightful analysis to solve problems. Below are a few samples of my work. 


Marketing Research Report

During the fall semester of my senior year I completed a Marketing Research report for Green Tomato Grill in Brea, CA. For the project I had to find my own client, complete secondary research, conduct interviews and a focus group, and create a survey. The survey results were then used to create a report to help Green Tomato gain a better understanding of their customers. Through completing the project I gained valuable experience in working with a client, and an understanding of the marketing research process. 


Target Market Project

The Target Market Project is a semester-long project in the Introduction to Marketing class. I researched two businesses in the specialty frozen dessert industry: PopBar and Frostbites. I did customer interviews, employee interviews, secondary research, and created a third business model based on the research I found. I enjoyed doing the research, and in the end the project was why I chose to study marketing.


Nonprofit Marketing Plan

During the Spring semester of my senior year I took Marketing for Nonprofits. For the class, we were encouraged to partner and connect with a local nonprofit. I chose to partner with the La Habra Life Center. The Life Center offers emotional and material support to women facing crisis pregnancy. I created a one year marketing plan based on primary and secondary research. The project taught me about the nonprofit world, and was a valuable experience in working with an organization that I have emotional ties to. I learned basic graphic design to assist with examples within the report, along with the logo to the left.
